Production is set to begin in fall 2026, but you can join the waitlist for this revitalized SUV at Athens BMW now. According to a June 2026 press release, 2027 BMW X5 rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive models will be priced similarly to their 2026 counterparts.

Just when we believed the BMW X5 interior couldn't be more sophisticated, the 2027 redesign proves us wrong. The latest BMW X5 Core models still come standard with a two-pane panoramic glass roof, though it now covers about 28 cubic feet to fill more of the new iteration's stretched dimensions.
Interior materials include Veganza and Individual Merino leather seating options, along with Alcantara decor. Thoughtfully added cushioning in the front seats and backrests makes sure you're comfortable, and front-seat ventilation and massaging are now offered in tandem via packages. You can even opt for genuine slate and crystal glass elements to create an exclusively opulent SUV atmosphere.
A windshield-wide panoramic display, called Panoramic Vision, is part of the model's broader BMW Panoramic iDrive infotainment ecosystem. It also includes a 17.9-inch central display and 3D Head-Up Display. With this connected group of technologies, you can drag and drop widgets from your central screen into the Panoramic Vision display, customize colors and themes, and keep pertinent information at the base of the windshield instead of behind the steering wheel.
You can operate many BMW Panoramic iDrive functions with a specially designed control panel on the steering wheel that provides haptic feedback, so you don't need to take your eyes off the road to work it. This modern marvel is one of the most advanced and notable updates for the new BMW X5 for sale.
You can also add a BMW Passenger Screen with a Front Passenger Entertainment system to the dash in front of your co-pilot's seat. This 14.6-inch HD display provides intuitive touch control for cabin functions, but it can also facilitate streaming, gaming, music, and other programs for your front passenger's enjoyment.
The 2027 BMW X5 exterior is elongated and wider with a higher front profile. The redesign also shows off modern double-X headlights that can toggle back to diagonal icons. A reworked BMW Kidney Iconic Glow element now graces the front grille as a standard element, contributing to the SUV's Welcome Light animations when you unlock it.
